What size shoe tree should I order?

For E (standard) shoes, we recommend purchasing a size 8 shoe tree for an 8E and 8.5E shoe/boot. Whole sizes fit true to size, for demi-pointes go down to the nearest whole size.

For D (narrow) shoes, we recommend purchasing a full size down for full sizes and a half size down for half sizes. For example: When purchasing a size 8D, we recommend ordering a size 7 shoe tree. If purchasing a size 8.5D, we recommend ordering a size 8 shoe tree.

For G (wide) shoes, we recommend purchasing one size up for whole sizes and one half size up for half sizes. For example: If you are purchasing an 8G or 8.5G shoe/boot, we recommend ordering a size 9 shoe tree.

These shoe trees offer three major benefits: they have excellent moisture absorption capacity, gradually drying your shoes from the inside out, they reduce creasing by supporting the uppers when you are not wearing your shoes and they provide even support when cleaning and polishing your shoes.
