Crockett & Jones Westfield

Produced in December 2003. The 341 is a versatile last from the core collection, with a medium round toe. Considered a traditional last from the core collection, the 341 has proven to be an excellent last for both formal business attire and smart casual wear. Long, but not too long, round, but not too round. Considered one of the most used lasts in the collection, the 341 strikes the perfect balance when shopping for Crockett & Jones shoes for their English heritage.

The most easily recognizable of all the classic styles is the elegant English Oxford. This formal style, which dates back over two hundred years, is said to have been named by students at Oxford University, although it is almost certain that this style is even older. The sequence of operations in the construction of an Oxford differs from that of a Derby. The inner and outer quarters are sewn under the vamp and the tongue is sewn separately under the quarters/vamp/face. Often referred to as "closed lacing".
