Crockett & Jones Chiltern Dark Brown Suede

The Chukka boot is believed to have both sporting and military heritage. A Chukka boot (or desert boot) is constructed from three pieces of outer material - the inner quarter, the outer quarter, and the upper - with a low leg (but above the ankle) and two or three eyelets.

Chiltern, one of the oldest and most iconic styles from Crockett & Jones in our men's Chukka boot collection, this simple Chukka is the perfect choice for a casual yet stylish look. A classic made from the finest dark brown suede with Dainite rubber soles.

This colorway of repello suede is tanned to be water-resistant. Fully treated with "Scotch guard" during the tanning process, the material achieves an exceptionally high level of resistance to water and oil-based substances. This waterproofing remains effective throughout the shoe's lifespan, even though we recommend continuing to care for your suede shoes.

The main suede used in the Chiltern Chukka Boot is robust, durable, and retains excellent substance.
